As for your necklace, I can see why you had "brain moments". The focal bead is great, but to me presents a big challenge and you rose to the challenge in a fabulous and creative way! Nice job! Very Happy

Some of you may remember that a while back I was struggling with chinese knotting, well I feel more comfortable with it now. In fact I am trying it with wire now. These are Pipa or teardrop knot done with wire. The purple one hangs from a viking chain I made as well.

Sholeh, absolutely gorgeous!! Uggg I was meant to take a viking knit class a few months ago but had to cancel due to lack of funds. Still dying to try it. You did a beautiful job.

You can probably pick it up from books, or even tutorials on the internet. Once you get the hand of it, it is not that bad. Just be prepared to do it couple of nights in front of the TV.

The chain is not too bad, once you get the hang of it, the chinese knot took a few tries, to get it right but not too bad.

I have finished my alchemy piece finally! It is 24 inches long with gold plated headpins and glass beads. I reallly love it, it is really pretty!
